Let’s imagine you’ve built up a thriving membership site with automatic payments every month. Pretty sweet, right? But…what happens when a user’s card expires.
Are you forced to kick them out? Spend precious work hours trying to contact said customer to try to fix the situation? You’re now also faced with the very real possibility that once their card is declined they may feel frustrated and just decide it’s not worth the price or time to be a member.
To sum it up, it can be a nightmare. That’s where credit card dunning management comes in, and Kartra’s got you covered.
Kartra now automatically monitor’s your users’ credit card expiration dates, and nine days before their card is expired, an automatic email will go out. This email lets your customers know that their credit card will expire soon and that will affect their subscription. It then sends your customers to the self-billing portal, where they can update their information without any work from you or your team.
